​Hi! My name is Vera and I am an incoming senior and President for Milpitas Model UN. I founded Model UN Masters to connect members of the Milpitas Model UN club with students outside of our club, providing opportunities for students to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and cultivate global awareness within our community. A passionate delegate with multiple awards, I am dedicated to making Model UN accessible for students of all backgrounds. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and hiking. I hope to inspire others to think critically and take initiative in their communities.

Next year will be my third year in Model UN, and I’m excited to continue improving my public speaking and debate skills while learning more about global issues. Hi, I’m Perlyn, and I am going to be a junior next school year! I’ve been a member of MUN for two years and it’s been such a fun experience of attending conferences, improving my public speaking, and learning how to be more diplomatic! I’ve learned so much about Model UN this year and I’m so excited to help other students this summer! Besides Model UN, I love painting, taking pictures, and meeting new people!

Hiii! My name is Aaliya and I am currently the Treasurer for Milpitas Model United Nations. I am an upcoming sophomore and this was my first year in Model UN. Outside of school I love to crochet, play guitar, and do karate. Model UN has really helped me with my public speaking and ignited my passion for political topics. Hello future best delegates, my name is Afia Marium and I am an incoming sophomore! I have been in Model UN for 1 year and it has been an amazing experience so far! Attending conferences is so fun and it’s a great way to start improving your public speaking skills. Outside of MUN, I enjoy musical theatre, singing, eating food, traveling to new places and mogging Ayse Bakmaz! I am super excited to meet all you amazing MUNmaxxers and be an instructor you all can remember!

Hi, I am Rainah and I am an incoming senior!  I’ve been a member of MUN for a year and a half now and every experience has been so much fun. I am so excited to continue learning and developing my diplomatic and public speaking skills while being able to help other students this year! Hi! My name is Vardhini Kashyap and I am an incoming sophomore! Ever since I have joined MUN I have said some of the most cringey things during a speech which is definitely one way to get over any social anxiety you have! MUN is exceptionally fun when you use your imagination to come up with the most random things but present it as serious solutions. It is a great place to let your creativity flow (especially in crisis). During my free time I like to sleep, learn new instruments, crochet or sew, and hang out with my friends! I can’t wait to see some of the crazy solutions you come up with during this workshop!

Hi, I’m Gianna and I’m an incoming sophomore! Even though I’ve only had one year of experience, Model UN is one of my favorite clubs and activities to participate in!! It has allowed me to develop speaking skills, as well as fast critical thinking due to crisis committees.
